This season hasn't been kind to the Guilford Home Educators Heat, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They were outmatched by South Guilford HomeSchool on the road and fell 48-11. Guilford Home Educators has not had much luck with South Guilford HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Guilford HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kailey Bullins, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kassidy Bullins, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and five blocks.
Guilford Home Educators' defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.
Guilford Home Educators will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chatham HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on January 25th. As for South Guilford HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 4:00 p.m. Asheboro Hybrid Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while South Guilford HomeSchool is ranked 153rd).
