Highland Tech extended their winning streak to five on Monday, bumping their season record up to 13-5 in the process. They put the hurt on the Shelby Golden Lions with a sharp 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 11 matches by ten runs or more so far this season.
Makaylee Gantt was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk).
