He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. Sanders was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to hits, as he's now got three or more in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gaven French, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was William (Thomas) Bowers, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
