This season hasn't been kind to the Bradleyville Eagles, who are still winless after their 15th matchup. They were beaten by School of the Ozarks 62-31 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Bradleyville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 535th, while School of the Ozarks is ranked 225th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead School of the Ozarks to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Widner, who scored 13 points along with six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Shadrach Thompson, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Bradleyville dropped their record down to 0-15 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for School of the Ozarks, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
Bradleyville will head out on the road to challenge Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for School of the Ozarks, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against New Covenant Academy at 6:00 p.m. New Covenant Academy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
