High Point Christian Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Virginia Episcopal School on Saturday. The High Point Christian Academy Cougars never let the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Cougars have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

HUNTER KELLEY and SETH OSTERTAG dominated on the mound. KELLEY tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, while OSTERTAG pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. OSTERTAG also tossed no walks, which is notable because High Point Christian Academy is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 2-3 otherwise.

The victory was the third in a row for High Point Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Virginia Episcopal School, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.
