They enjoyed a cozy 54-38 victory over Cardington-Lincoln. That's another feather in the cap for Clear Fork, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Cardington-Lincoln's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abigail Hardwick, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals. Hardwick has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jill Bertke, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Clear Fork pushed their record up to 15-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.
Clear Fork will be playing at home against River Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Clear Fork has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Buckeye Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Cardington-Lincoln focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday.
