Basketball Recap: Carlyle Piles Up the Points Against Robinson

Carlyle posted their biggest win since December 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They breezed past the Robinson Maroons to the tune of 66-38. The Indians/Lady Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Robinson lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cruz Dunlap, who posted ten points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Green, who scored 15 points.

Carlyle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points over those games. As for Robinson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-21.

Coming up, Carlyle will be playing at home against Red Bud at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Red Bud has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight defeats, while Carlyle will come in with six straight victories. As for Robinson, they will take on Dieterich at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
