Triplains/Brewster's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Madison Schroeder, who scored seven points along with four steals, and Joslyn Nichols who scored no points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Triplains/Brewster struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rawlins County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kayte Shively, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Shively is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Tayten Dewey, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Triplains/Brewster's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-5. As for Rawlins County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
