After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, the Cincinnati Christian Cougars were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Miami Valley Christian Academy by a score of 47-40. Given Cincinnati Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Miami Valley Christian Academy is ranked 548th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cincinnati Christian found their leader in underclassman Addyson Raby, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaylin Davis, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
Cincinnati Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Christian has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome North College Hill at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th. North College Hill comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against New Richmond at 6:00 p.m. New Richmond is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
