The Eastern Hancock Royals put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Knightstown 70-16 at home. Eastern Hancock might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.
Leading Eastern Hancock to victory were McKenzie Koch and Sammie Bolding. Koch scored 19 points along with three steals, while Bolding scored 21 points along with four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Koch has scored at least 25% of Eastern Hancock's points. Makenzie O'Neal was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Eastern Hancock's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.63 points. As for Knightstown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Hancock will take on Wes-Del at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Knightstown won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Waldron at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Waldron focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Friday.
