The Coupeville Wolves will face off against the Adna Pirates at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Coupeville is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They blew past South Whidbey, posting  a  35-6 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their seven-point performance the  contest before.
Among those leading the charge was   Davin Houston, who rushed for 64 yards and one  score on only seven carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Coupeville was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 217  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in three consecutive  games.
 Coupeville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Aiden O'Neill.
Meanwhile, Adna entered their tilt with Forks on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Spartans 49-13. Considering the Pirates have won three matchups by more than 35  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Coupeville better keep an eye on  Naillon Ramirez. He was instrumental in Adna's win, rushing for 188 yards and three  TDs on only 14 carries. Another receiver making a difference was  Grayson Humphrey, who picked up 53 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
 Adna's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Coupeville, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-5.
 Coupeville took a serious blow against Adna  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024, falling  55-13. That  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wolves were down  42-6.
