Columbus Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They never let the Franklin Heights Falcons get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. 13 seems to be a good number for the Vikings as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Columbus Academy pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Franklin Heights, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13-1.
