David Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Smith was even better at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Those two triples gave Blackner a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Noah Wolffe, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Beaver always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Milford might've scored the first runs on Wednesday, but it was South Sevier who claimed the real prize. The Tigers fell just short of the Rams by a score of 4-2. The Tigers have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Beaver has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Milford struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Beaver came out on top in a nail-biter against Milford in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. Do the Beavers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
