Caleb Williams Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Crowley's Caleb Williams, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Williams rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (107.3) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 86-yard run.
Crowley's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. Williams and Crowley will square off against Mansfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Braxton Van Cleave Dazzles in Mansfield Win
Braxton Van Cleave's big game helped extend Mansfield's winning streak to six on Thursday. Nobody could stop Van Cleave as he threw for 236 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt.
On the year, Van Cleave has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 239.5 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had six passing touchdowns.

Jacobe Hayes and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Jacobe Hayes was instrumental in extending Mansfield's winning streak to six on Thursday. Lake Ridge had no answer to Hayes as he picked up 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Unfortunately for Lake Ridge, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Hayes. When Hayes last faced the Eagles back in September of 2023, he picked up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Zion Robinson Turns in Season-Best Performance
Zion Robinson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Mansfield to the win on Thursday. Robinson picked up 120 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 52 yards.
For the year, Robinson has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 62.5 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 31.5 receiving yards per game.

Nathan Wilson Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Mansfield Legacy got the W thanks in part to Nathan Wilson playing the best football he has all season. Wilson threw for 80 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 63 yards on only six carries.
The win snapped Mansfield Legacy's winning streak at seven games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record. Wilson and Mansfield Legacy are taking a road trip to square off against Boswell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
