Baseball Recap: Pembroke Has No Trouble Against Albion

While Pembroke put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Albion. The Dragons blew past the Purple Eagles 10-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Pembroke got a great performance from Hayden Williams as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Jacob Johnson was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Anthony Abbatiello was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Pembroke's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Pembroke will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Alexander at 5:00 p.m. As for Albion, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Newfane at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Purple Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
