After flying high against St. Mary's Central  last Thursday, Jamestown came back down to earth. The Jamestown Bluejays took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bismarck Demons on Thursday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Demons: they've now lost three in a row.
 The  loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive:  Bismarck scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 19-25, 25-21,  25-19.
 Leading Bismarck to victory were  Aspen Roaldson and  Madison Foster.  Roaldson  had 16  digs, three  kills,  and 40  assists, while  Foster  had 34  digs and a  kill. Roaldson is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 12 or more in the last 66 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jensen Hintz, who  had ten  kills, ten  digs,  and two  aces.
 Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Bismarck, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record  this season.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Minot the next time they take the court. Jamestown will  host Minot at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday, while Bismarck will play them later in the day, at 5:00  p.m.
