Clarion-Limestone scaled the state rankings by moving to 511 from 549 this week, the biggest jump in Keystone Shortway - Small. The Lions were able to move up by defeating Keystone 48-20.
Clarion Area added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Union, 62-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Bobcats.
Redbank Valley's dynamic duo of Jake Dougherty and Mitch Blose proved tough for Allegheny-Clarion Valley to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dougherty threw for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns and Blose had 125 yards receiving. Connor Shoemaker helped Redbank Valley's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 95 yards.
Chase Alcorn was a beast in the backfield as Clarion-Limestone beat the Panthers.
Thanks to the talents of Christian Bakewell and Alcorn, Dave Eggleton's team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Bakewell leads the league in passing with 707 yards, while Alcorn has rushed for 627 yards this season. Clarion Area's Cody Hearst leads the league in receiving yards with 355 on 18 catches.
The Knights/Damsels lost to Larry Wiser's team 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
