The biggest upset of the week belonged to Michigan Lutheran Seminary, who defeated 254th ranked Carrollton, 21-7. Nathanael Lindloff threw for 171 yards and ran for 11 yards during the win.
Fans got a thrill when Logan Gatza and Seth Keinath connected against Merrill. The longest such play in Tri-Valley - West this season, the connection resulted in 55 yards.
Valley Lutheran's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Gatza threw for 203 and 2 touchdowns and Keinath had 68 yards receiving. On the ground Gatza chipped in 94 yards. Blake Maurer helped Valley Lutheran's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 61 yards.

St. Louis scaled the state rankings by moving to 475 from 534 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Paul Reid's team climbed the ranks as a result of beating Breckenridge 34-7.
