The Mahwah Thunderbirds can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Central Jersey College Prep 51-14 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Mahwah has managed all season.
Despite the defeat, Central Jersey College Prep saw an underclassman step up: Lucas Chouloute scored five points.
Mahwah's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Central Jersey College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
