Universal can finally bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 39-31 win over the Aqsa Legends. The Stars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Aqsa lost, don't look at Noor Saleh. Despite the final result, she posted 25 points. That was a full 80.6% of Aqsa's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Universal's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Aqsa, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Unity Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Aqsa will head out to face Unity Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Universal will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
