Los Alamos is 10-0 against Moriarty since February of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Los Alamos Hilltoppers will head out on the road to take on the Moriarty Pintos at 7:00 p.m. Los Alamos is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
Last Saturday, Los Alamos was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-44 to Taos.
Moriarty won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They took a serious blow against Robertson, falling 74-36. Moriarty was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.
Los Alamos' defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Moriarty, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Los Alamos beat Moriarty 66-53 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Los Alamos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
