Jordan Pegues and Melvin Bond provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Douglass. The connection went for 76 yards, the longest such play in AA District 15 this season.
Trezevant took down Kingsbury 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jamal Jones ran for 218 yards in the win.
Manassas's dynamic duo of Pegues and Bond proved tough for the Red Devils to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pegues threw for 114 yards and two touchdowns and Bond had 114 yards receiving.
Joshua Jones made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bears beat the Falcons. The 6-foot-1 senior racked up 2.5 sacks.
Manassas' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Pegues has thrown for 597 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Bond has 12 catches for 240 yards. Bond leads the league in rushing with 1025 yards.
Kingsbury made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,163 from 10,048. The advance stemmed from a 48-0 victory over Earl Lester's team last week.
