Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pike County). They came out on top against the Opp Bobcats by a score of 59-52 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Bobcats last Tuesday, they had to take a 49-42 loss.

Despite the defeat, Opp had strong showings from DJ Hines, who posted 13 points along with eight rebounds and six assists, and Jeshurun Crittenden, who earned ten points in addition to five boards and five blocks. Hines has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 11 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brandyn Washington, who scored nine points.

Pike County's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Opp, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

Pike County has already played their next match (against Goshen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Opp will host Bullock County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
