The Hamlin Pied Pipers won the last time they faced the Rotan Yellowhammers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Hamlin claimed a resounding 70-36 victory over Rotan on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hamlin.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hamlin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ian Gruben, who scored 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Kyson McGee, who scored 15 points.
Hamlin's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Rotan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.
Hamlin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Albany at 7:45 p.m. on January 2, 2024. As for Rotan, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Rule at 3:30 p.m. on December 29th. Rule is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
