East Gaston won the last time they faced Bessemer City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Yellow Jackets a 9-0 shutout. Tessa Self was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The win made it two in a row for East Gaston and bumps their season record up to 10-6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those two matches.
