Basketball Recap: Milwaukee School of Languages Piles Up the Points Against Bowen

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milwaukee School of Languages). They claimed a resounding 86-46 win over the Bowen Boilermakers. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Milwaukee School of Languages to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aj,(Amaris) Hunt, who went 10 of 19 en route to 29 points along with six boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Manning Shareef, who posted 18 points in addition to eight boards and six blocks.

Hunt wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Milwaukee School of Languages was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Bowen lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Rae'Qwon Rogers, who had 15 points along with five boards and four steals. Rogers is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Carter, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points and seven boards.

The victory (which was Milwaukee School of Languages' fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28 points. As for Bowen, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Milwaukee School of Languages didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-62 loss against Columbus on the 27th. As for Bowen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 48-42 defeat against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central on the 26th.
