Boston Jones was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for East Nicolaus, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season.
Winters came out on top in a nail-biter against East Nicolaus when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 3-1. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
