Walton is 0-3 against KIPP NYC College Prep since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Walton Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the KIPP NYC College Prep Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Walton is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Walton suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They were outmatched by Longwood Prep Academy on the road and fell 80-30. While losing is never fun, Walton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 390th, while Longwood Prep Academy is ranked 72nd).
Meanwhile, KIPP NYC College Prep came up short against Summit Academy on Sunday and fell 35-28. KIPP NYC College Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Walton now has a losing record at 4-5. As for KIPP NYC College Prep, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Walton was dealt a bruising 54-25 defeat at the hands of KIPP NYC College Prep when the teams last played back in January of 2019. Can Walton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
