Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were beaten by Vardaman 42-14 on Friday. Tupelo Christian Prep's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Although Tupelo Christian Prep took the loss, they still got scores from Brewer Bailey and Wyatt Wheeler.
Tupelo Christian Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Vardaman, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Tupelo Christian Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Vardaman will take on Baldwyn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Baldwyn is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
