The St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers will be playing at home against the Climax-Scotts Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
Last Thursday, St. Philip Catholic Central came up short against Mendon and fell 57-50.
Meanwhile, Climax-Scotts had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 53-41 victory over Quincy on Tuesday.
St. Philip Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Climax-Scotts, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.
St. Philip Catholic Central couldn't quite finish off Climax-Scotts in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 and fell 45-43. Can St. Philip Catholic Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
