The Goshen Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 83-52 win over Western Brown at home. Goshen has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Goshen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Zeinner, who scored 18 points along with seven assists. Zeinner is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bray Settelmayer, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Goshen's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Western Brown, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Goshen will take on Western Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Western Hills' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Western Brown, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wilmington at 7:15 p.m.
