Vista Ridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Hester, who scored six points. Bennett Eivens was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Vista Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-23 record this season. As for Round Rock Westwood, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vista Ridge will take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Stony Point's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while the Rangers have been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road. As for Round Rock Westwood, they will square off against the Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
