Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Carly Stevens, who scored 13 points along with nine steals and seven rebounds. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Leah Stevens , who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Highlands Latin bumped their record down to 2-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.0 points per game. As for Christian Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.
Highlands Latin will be playing in front of their home fans against Presentation at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kentucky (Presentation is ranked 233rd, while Highlands Latin is ranked 246th). As for Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Clarksville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarksville has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 18.
