Hibbing's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Cloquet Lumberjacks with a sharp 9-3 victory. Considering the Bluejackets have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Blake Riccio was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. James Jivery also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Hibbing always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Hibbing is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Cloquet, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Hibbing nor the Lumberjacks have any future games scheduled.
