The Riverdale Ridge Ravens will head out on the road to face off against the Niwot Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Riverdale Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Niwot likes a good challenge.
Last Tuesday, Riverdale Ridge's game was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 60-47 win over Severance. The victory was just what Riverdale Ridge needed coming off of a 82-60 defeat in their prior contest.
Riverdale Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kameren Davis, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Hinh, who scored 9 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 80-32, which was the final score in Niwot's tilt against Silver Creek on Saturday. It was the first time this season that Niwot let down their fans at home.
Riverdale Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Niwot, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-2.
Riverdale Ridge didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Niwot when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 78-72 win. Will Riverdale Ridge repeat their success, or does Niwot have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
