The Seton Conquistadors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season. They breezed by Christ Chapel Academy on the road to the tune of 68-25. The victory was just business as usual for Seton, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.
Christ Chapel Academy's loss on Thursday came despite strong showings from David Neaves and Julius Crawford III. Neaves scored eight points along with five rebounds, while Crawford III scored nine points. Neaves also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Sean Michael Robinson, who scored five points.
Seton's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Christ Chapel Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Seton will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Rock Ridge at 1:00 p.m. on December 16th. Rock Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Seton is ranked 23rd). Christ Chapel Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Trinity at Meadow View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity at Meadow View comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
