The Hilliard Red Flashes will head out to  face off against the Fernandina Beach Pirates  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Hilliard has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 27.

 Nevaeh Brown spent all 8.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Kierstin Northern was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with one  home run, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Fernandina Beach posted their closest  win since March 3rd on Tuesday. They never let Bishop Snyder get on the board and left with  a   2-0  victory. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
The result came thanks to  Carsen Chmiel's shutout, as she gave up just three  hits and racked up seven Ks.
