The Living Water Christian Warriors's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They blew past Southside Christian 41-14 at home. Living Water Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Living Water Christian to victory were JAYDIN JEFFERSON and JANISE HOLMES. JEFFERSON scored 14 points, while HOLMES scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which HOLMES has scored at least a third of Living Water Christian's points.
Living Water Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Southside Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Living Water Christian will stay at home for another game and welcome Wilmington Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Wilmington Christian Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Southside Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hilltop Christian at 5:00 p.m.
