Williston-Elko extended the longest winning streak in A Region IV this week by beating Wagener-Salley, 64-40. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Blue Devils.
Williston-Elko took down the War Eagles 64-40 last week, the largest margin of any game.
North's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Darrien Wise has thrown for 417 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Marquis Williams has 8 catches for 239 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Fox Creek takes on Dwayne Garrick's team. The Predators are currently in second, while the Blue Devils are in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Blackville-Hilda takes on Hunter-Kinard-Tyler. The Fighting Hawks have allowed 97 points this season, while the Trojans have given up 62.
Fox Creek made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,138 from 7,120. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 42-41 victory over Ridge Spring-Monetta last week.
