The Thomas Jefferson School Titan suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 61-28 defeat at the hands of Eagle Ridge Christian. Thomas Jefferson School lost against Eagle Ridge Christian in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 50-49 score last time.
Despite the defeat, Thomas Jefferson School saw an underclassman step up: Owen Park scored six points along with two steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eagle Ridge Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Simpson, who scored 16 points. Simpson hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Chase WIlliams was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Thomas Jefferson School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
Thomas Jefferson School will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage Classical Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Classical Christian Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Marquand-Zion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
