Overton had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They were given a punishing 22-63 loss at the hands of Bartlett. If Overton were hoping for some payback for the 16-39 loss against Bartlett the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Overton off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Bartlett a 1-0 record.
Next week, Overton take on St. Benedict at Auburndale at 7:00 PM. As for Bartlett, they will face of against Bolton.
