With a playoff win on the line, Kettle Run rose to the challenge on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Thomas Jefferson Vikings out 35-32. The win was just business as usual for the Cougars, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.
Jonathan Taylor was a one-man wrecking crew for Kettle Run as he rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 69 receiving yards. The dominant performance gave Taylor a new career-high in rushing touchdowns. Colton Quaker was another key back, rushing for 74 yards and one touchdown.

Kettle Run pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points per game.
