FAMU DRS found their leader in underclassman Queenn Love, who scored 17 points along with eight steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Love has scored all season.
FAMU DRS's victory ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-9. As for North Florida Christian, they bumped their record down to 4-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. FAMU DRS will face off against North Bay Haven Academy on Saturday. North Bay Haven Academy has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7. As for North Florida Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Taylor County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
