It was a good run, but Independence unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 60-37 to the West Wolfpack. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Independence's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Davian Leon, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amarius Rowel, who put up 11 points.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for West, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Independence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-41 loss against Justin Garza on the 27th. As for West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 46-38 win against Sunnyside on the 27th.
