Basketball Recap: Jackson's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

If Jackson was riding high fresh off their 75-42 takedown of Goleman on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jackson Generals came up short against the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders on Friday, falling 58-36. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 264th, while the Highlanders are ranked 40th).

Jackson lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jordany Fils-Aime, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Carlos Solano, who scored eight points and seven rebounds.
