The Woodridge Bulldogs are on the road again on Friday and play against the West Branch Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Woodridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 304th, while West Branch is ranked 121st).
Last Friday, Woodridge was the victim of a tough 35-14 loss at the hands of Field.
Meanwhile, West Branch entered their tilt with Salem with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. West Branch simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Salem 49-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for West Branch, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
It was another big night for Boston Mulinix, who rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Mulinix hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for six straight games. Joey Jackson made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Woodridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for West Branch, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-1.
Woodridge suffered a grim 34-13 defeat to West Branch in their previous matchup back in August. Can Woodridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
