The Richland Rams are taking a road trip to  take on the Greater Johnstown Trojans  at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Richland came up short against  Chestnut Ridge on Wednesday, falling  9-3. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.
  Addy Matejovich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.  Sophie Burke also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
 Meanwhile, Greater Johnstown was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  15-0 to Central Cambria.
 Greater Johnstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Richland, they now  have a losing record of 3-4.
 Everything went Richland's way against Greater Johnstown in their previous matchup  back in March of 2024, as Richland made off with  a  16-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
