Volleyball Recap: Franklin Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Carson Turner and Allie Grace Mclaughlin

If Franklin Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Raleigh Charter on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots fell 3-1 to the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns on Friday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Unicorns recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Franklin Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.
