Pratt has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Smoky Valley Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Pratt is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Kansas (they are ranked 56th, while Smoky Valley is ranked 238th).
On Friday, Pratt didn't have too much trouble with Nickerson on the road as they won 61-45.
Meanwhile, Smoky Valley had to suffer through a rough 65-25 loss at the hands of Haven. Smoky Valley has not had much luck with Haven recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Pratt pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Smoky Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Pratt was able to grind out a solid victory over Smoky Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 71-61. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Smoky Valley's Vincent Pickering, who scored 24 points. Now that he won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be that much easier for Pratt to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
