Lee is 0-10 against the Bears since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Lee Generals will be playing at home against the Union Bears at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Lee ended up a good deal behind the Blue Devils and lost 61-47.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kinley Huff, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Bishop, who scored 15 points.
Even though they lost, Lee were working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Union's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 67-35 loss at the hands of Ridgeview. Union has struggled against the Wolfpack recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Lee has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Union, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11.
Lee was taken down by the Bears 73-25 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Will Lee have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
